From Kathmandu, you have to reach Salleri from Siddhicharan Highway via Khurkot of BP Highway.
If you come by air, you can start your journey to dudhkunda after landing at Phaplu Airport.
As the track of the dirt road from Salleri to Ringmu was opened to the north, Bolero vehicle was going there. For those who like to walk, it takes about 4-5 hours to reach the ring from Phaplu, Chiwang.
After a 2-3 hour walk from Ringmu, you reach Sarkaripati.

Today's need is to develop this region physically keeping in view the convenience of local and foreign tourists.
Organizations like dudhkunda Community Forest, Red Cross Society and other bodies are working for the protection, promotion and publicity of this area. The state needs to play an additional role for the development of this sector.
