As the Pathivara templetemple is at a very high altitude, the world’s third highest peak, the Kanchenjunga mountain range, Kumbhakarna, Makalu, Kangwachen and Lotse Himal can be seen from here, Apart from this, there are more than 200 species of birds including the national bird Danphe, thorny vulture found only in Nepal, 152 species of flowers, 28 species of red gourds, rare red panda, leopard, Himalayan black bear and more than three dozen other wild animals also can be seen.

Pathivara temple Devi is considered as real Devi. It is said to be full of grain because it is shaped like a basket of full of grain. At night, after the goddess instructed him to worship with a sheep sacrifice, he worshiped accordingly and all the lost sheep were found. After that, there is a religious belief that the goddess is worshiped as a real goddess. According to the traditional belief, it is known as ‘fulfilling one’s aspirations’. Although animal sacrifice is not mandatory here, visitors can offer sacrifices.
